Kaleidoscope was initially launched as a unique short film contest to commemorate the 200th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Mexico.
In its first edition, Kaleidoscope received over 800 short film submissions. The binational jury selected the three winning films, which were showcased in four screenings on both sides of the border.
